Company Overview
Guided by its purpose, “Moving the World – for You,” Isuzu engages in the development, manufacture, and sale of commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses, in addition to providing comprehensive services throughout the entire vehicle life cycle—from purchase to after-sales support. The Company also develops, manufactures, and sells pickup trucks for overseas markets, with operations in more than 150 countries worldwide, building a strong global customer base.

The automotive industry has seen massive changes in recent years, characterized by connected, autonomous, shared & service, and electric (CASE) technologies. In response to this shift in the industry, Isuzu has partnered with several companies to accelerate the development of carbon-neutral vehicles and autonomous driving solutions and the provision of connected services, thereby helping resolve social challenges related to the transportation of goods and people.

ISUZU MOTORS LIMITED Integrated Report 2025 highlights the Company’s medium-term business plan, ISUZU Transformation—Growth to 2030, which sets forth its vision of becoming a commercial mobility solutions company. Isuzu is working to transform its business model and organization to achieve this goal. Integrated Report 2025 also lays out the Company’s medium- to long-term strategy from three perspectives—the pursuit of new business opportunities, the strengthening of existing businesses, and the establishment of a management foundation centered on the ISUZU ID, the Company’s corporate philosophy that drives ESG-focused management and accelerates innovation. With greater scope and more comprehensive reporting over prior years, Integrated Report 2025 describes in more depth how the Company is able to achieve its medium-term business plan and realize a solid revenue base by introducing Isuzu’s regional strategies and explaining their role within its overall business strategy.

The Integrated Report 2025 Special Feature covers autonomous driving solutions, a pillar of the Company’s new business initiatives. The first half discusses the road map and partnership strategy to achieve commercialization by fiscal 2028, the year ending March 31, 2028, including the status of autonomous driving development and its future outlook. In the second half of the Special Feature, Vice President Hiroshi Sato and General Manager Shigeru Okitsu are joined by Shinpei Kato, CEO of TIER IV, INC., a start-up partner specializing in autonomous driving technology, for a roundtable discussion. Here they discuss their shared vision for the implementation of autonomous driving in society and the synergies achieved through collaboration.
